Vulvalucion (Vulva + Evolution) is a women’s sexual r-evolution focused on empowerment, respect, and equality. The vulva is our symbol of strength, self-love, and freedom.
The Peruvian Vulvalucion began in 2005 through the fair-trade project K’anchay Killa — Quechua for “Illumined Moon.” We supported Andean artisans, mostly women from Manchay, Lima, by providing microcredit so they could start home-based businesses and achieve economic independence.
Vulvalucion is inspired by ancestral cultures that honored women’s power, wisdom, and equality. Our creations celebrate this heritage through art inspired by ancient pre-Inca Peruvian ceramics that proudly represented the vulva.
Here you will also find We Love Our Vulva, a book created by 28 Vulvalutioners.
Our vulva dolls have inspired women in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Mexico, Spain, France, and the United States. Each doll is handcrafted with love by Andean women under fair-trade principles.
